Do you feel like you need better boundaries or constantly feel guilty about saying “No?” Are you having trouble with motivation due to feelings of depression or anxiety; do you feel stuck when trying to move forward? Are you seeking support with direct and honest feedback or insights without feeling judged?
Hello, I'm Nate
I am passionate about helping people discover new insights about themselves, setting boundaries, and improving decision-making abilities.
How do your life experiences impact your current outlook on where you're trying to go?
I have a direct, compassionate, warm, and easy-to-approach personality. I've been described as someone who can help make hard conversations smoother.
Individual & Family Counseling
I work with adolescents (15-17) and adults in individual and family therapy. I may be your ideal therapist if you're experiencing relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, life transitions, substance use issues, religious trauma, and PTSD.

I received my Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling in 2011, and I've been dually licensed in Mental Health and Substance Abuse since 2012. Most of my experience includes individual, group, and family therapy, adult and adolescent intensive outpatient therapy, juvenile drug treatment court, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
... & and for fun
During COVID, I started traveling alone, and now I can't get enough! My goal is to take at least two international trips each year. I also love to sing; although this seldom comes up, I was trained to sing opera and deeply appreciate anyone who sticks with musical training. Currently, I sing at church. Lastly, I come from a huge family and love a good family cookout or game night. I understand that families can be challenging but can also be a source of immense belonging and fun.
